To enable us to carry out this project we first needed to remove a metre of ground from the rear of the property so as to reduce the ground level and enable retaining walls to be built. This was an older property built from malmstone and we had to use slate and conservation roof windows so as to blend in with the surrounding properties.

Oak doors and windows were fitted to the entire gable end and the external walls were finished in Cedar cladding. We produced a feature wall in the master bedroom picking out sections of the existing malmstone as well as constructing a vaulted ceiling. We also formed concrete worktops in the kitchen to continue the same theme.
